WAYNE ROONEY TO CAMEO IN ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
NEW YORK – It was announced at the annual Orange is the New Black convention that Wayne Rooney is to play a key role in season four of the popular Netflix series.
“I’ve desperately wanted to get my hands on Wayne,” said the shows creator, Jenji Kohan.
He was originally going to play a character in season 3 but he had other commitments. I’ve finally managed to pin him down and I can’t wait to play with him.
Rooney is set to play the role of a prison guard doing work experience at Litchfield. According to Kohan, his character is destined to become a fans favourite:
I really probed deep into my writing box of tricks. I couldn’t get to grips with him at first and it took a lot of pummeling away until I finally figured out what made him tick but when I did, it all came together.
Rooney might not be the only new face we’ll be seeing next season as it is rumoured that Lionel Messi might be making an appearance but Kohan would neither confirm or deny the gossip:
I know everyone is moist with anticipation and a lot of tongues have been wagging. I don’t want to rub anyone up the wrong way but all will be revealed soon and I’ll bend over backwards to please the fans.
Orange is the New Black Season 4 is due in 2016.
