HOLLYWOOD  – News has just come in that Tom Hardyhas agreed to fight every animal in London Zoo in order to raise money for charity.

Currently filming Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Hardy has been secretly training for months in order to ensure he is in perfect condition to face the creatures in mortal combat at Madison Square Gardens next weekend.

The Studio Exec caught up with Hardy at his temporary gym somewhere in the Australian Desert to ask him about his upcoming bout.
“I’m really excited,” said a buff Hardy. “I’ve been studying martial arts such as Jeet Kune Do, Wing Chun and Kendo and researching how various animals fight.”

I think the combination of martial arts and method acting will be a match for any beast that dares step in the ring with me.  Basically, I’m going to adopt the persona of the nemesis of every animal I face. For example when I fight the Spider, I’m going to pretend I’m an eagle. When I fight a snake, I’ll become a mongoose and when I get to the penguins, I’ll adopt the guise of a killer whale.

When pressed if he foresaw any problems with adopting this unique approach Hardy had this to say.

I’m not really sure how to tackle some of the larger animals yet. You know, the lions, tigers, bears and elephants as the only natural predators they have are human beings. So it might be the case that I just have to keep a shotgun in my corner and shoot my way through the final rounds.

Ticket’s for the event are already sold out. All proceeds will go to the World Wildlife Fund.
