HOLLYWOOD – Following the high profile flop of Jupiter Ascending, few thought that a sequel was likely or desirable but a scaled down Jupiter Ascending sequel is now on the cards.
The Wachowski Sisters are to direct a sequel to last year’s Jupiter Ascending, it has been revealed, but with a much reduced budget. Mila Kunis will not return as Jupiter Jones, the Earth woman who takes on the villains, nor will Channing Tatum as the hybrid man-dog Caine Wise. They have been replaced by Lindsay Lohan and Hayden Christensen.
The Wachowskis slipped into the Studio Exec bungalow to talk EXCLUSIVELY about the new pic.
We really roasted the studio on the last one and there was no way in this solar system that they would put up the money to take a bath on the sequel as well. And yet we still felt that we had a story to tell. A truly compelling story.
Lilly: Yeah, there was no way they were going to help us out unless we cut the money right back. Mila and Channing were really cool about it. We showed them what we intended to do about the story and how we couldn’t afford them anymore and they seemed really happy.
Lana: True professionals.
LIlly: So then we got Lindsay Lohan and Hayden Christensen.
So they were cheaper?
Lana: $5000 each.
That’s amazingly cheap!
Lilly: We felt bad asking them for more.
Oh, they’re paying?
Lana: Er, yeah.
And the story?
Lilly: What story?
Lana: The story is a continuation, but instead of having lots of expensive effects it’s going to take place in a garage that needs tidying up.
Lilly: We do have some exteriors of lawns being mown and basic landscape gardening being done. And the style is going to be a lot more handheld.
Lana: As if filmed on a phone.
Lilly: And we’re changing the title.
Jupiter Descending will be released in 2020.
HOLLYWOOD – Someone just leaked the script for Blade Runner 2050 onto the internet.
Did you love Blade Runner 2049? Do you want to see the sequel Blade Runner 2050? Well, there’s a good chance you never will. But we’ve managed to get a copy of the script after it leaked onto the internet. So here it is.
INT. CLOSE UP.
Extreme close up of an eye blinking. Hans Zimmer blows his electronic TUBA.
EXT. CINEMATOGRAPHY. NIGHT
Cinematography as far as the eye can see. J (Hayden Christensen) pilots a Spinner, a futuristic flying car over the miles and miles of cinematography, until he lands on the roof of a magnificent ziggurat.
INT. ZIGGURAT. NIGHT
J descends in a strobing lift and enters a magnificent hall, where he is greeted by L (Lindsay Lohan) and an OWL.
Welcome to the Production Design.
Thank you. I’ve come from the cinematography.
Do you like the production design?
You could at least look at it.
I did look at it. Is that owl artificial?
Of course it is.
It must be very expensive.
We put it in the production design budget.
I’ve come to see if you’re human.
I’m not. Neither are you.
Is anyone human anymore?

HOLLYWOOD – Following his success rejuvenating one 70s blockbuster, JJ Abrams is turning his attention to Steven Spielberg’s Jaws.
Hardly a day goes by without someone yelling: ‘where oh where is the Jaws prequel we’ve all wanted?’ Well, those souls can rest assured: JJ Abrams is on the case with his new film Amity. JJ popped into the Studio Exec bungalow to jaw about his new project.
We want to make Jaws but this time with an alternative timeline. What would have happened to Chief Brody (Hayden Christensen) and his family if there hadn’t been any shark. No attacks, no blood in the water. All the questions we can answer.
When I first saw the original my big question was: who are these kids karate chopping the fences? What sort of investigation would that look like?
I know. And we get to see Quint (Will Ferrell) go into an alcohol induced coma, ironically the same day he would have been eaten by the shark.
Amity will be released in 2018.
HOLLYWOOD – The new international trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is over ninety minutes long and features tons of new footage.
The new international trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens dropped on the internet today via Japan. It is ninety minutes long and features entire scenes and much of the story. So far was have had character poster (CLICK HERE) and a shorter trailer from which we already learned 117 things (CLICK HERE).
The new trailer features Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega, but still no Mark Hamill and no Hayden Christensen as yet. J.J. Abrams spoke EXCLUSIVELY to the Studio Exec about the new international trailer:
We began with teasers and just glimpses and everyone got really excited so then we decided to give you basically two thirds of the film. With mainly got music on it and a few other things, but this way there’s only going to be about half an hour of stuff you haven’t seen. It’s going to be marvelous.
HOLLYWOOD – Star Wars: The Force Awakens character posters have been released and reveal a surprising inclusion alongside Princess Leia, Han Solo, Rey, Kylo Ren and Finn.
There is no Luke Skywalker, but the Star Wars: The Force Awakens character posters did reveal one surprise inclusion: Anakin Skywalker, played by Hayden Christensen. It seems unlikely that Anakin will appear in the main action in the film but his appearance has led many commentators and bloggers to include that there might well be a substantial flashback section of the film, relating to the early and much loved prequels. Christensen’s inclusion in the cast had already been revealed by the Studio Exec when we published Exclusive images: click HERE. He will join Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega as well as Mark Hamill, presumably. But not Alec Guinness as we learned here.
Xavier Poulis, owner and commentator of ManyBothansDied.Net, writes:
Hayden Christensen’s inclusion does seem to screw with the timeline and one can only assume that J.J. Abrams is returning to the prequels to try and rectify some plot points. What will be interesting is how this works out with the other stories that we know are taking place and what this back story will mean to the actual action of the film. I think I am not alone in saying that all fans will be pleased to have Hayden Christensen back in any shape or form. He is a class act. I do worry about the story of his inclusion in Rogue One though.
However, some have claimed that the delay in the release of the Hayden Christensen and the slightly different aesthetic might indicate that it is in fact a fake. Perhaps placed by Christensen himself who is still waiting for production to begin on Jumper 2. This theory was put to rest by an email received last night from J.J. Abrams which said:
Hey, Studio Exec!
Hayden Christensen is definitely in the movie. He has a small but really important part and he is an excellent actor. I think Jumper 2 is going to blow us all away.
Hay J.J. Abrams.
HOLLYWOOD – A new Star Wars: The Force Awakens poster has been released to allay fears that an iconic figure from the series might be absent from the film altogether.
With the release of the first official The Force Awakens poster yesterday, the reaction was instantaneous and unanimous -as if a million voices had cried out in pain and had been silenced: where’s Jar Jar Binks? Such was the furor with even President Obama tweeting his disappointment that Disney took the unprecedented move of releasing a revised poster.
Film director J.J. Abrams issued a statement with the new poster:
We had perhaps tried to be too clever. We wanted to tease Jar Jar but then the idea came to not have him there at all and build up tension. But we got so much blow back from it, the risk was this was going to overshadow the release. There were some fans who were even talking of organizing a boycott of the film and we’re making it for the fans, so that would be the worst possible outcome.
Jar Jar, however, is not the only noticeable absence. Stills have already shown that Hayden Christensen has got a prominent role in the new film, but his absence from the poster has caused speculation that he might only appear in flashback. Likewise, lead character Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) is also a notable absentee.
‘Oh he dies in like the first six minutes,’ Abrams reassured us. ‘Erm, spoiler, maybe!?’
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released December 18th, 2015.

HOLLYWOOD – Former Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen will not only appear in Star Wars: Episode 7: The Force Awakens, but will also star in spin off movie Rogue One.
Hayden Christensen – the star of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith – will appear in Gareth Edwards’ anthology Star Wars movie Rogue One, it was revealed today. Although very little is known about the movie, beyond the basic concept, Hayden Christensen’s participation came as a complete surprise. Hayden Christensen will join the cast which includes Felicity Jones, Ben Mendelsohn and Diego Luna in a space opera epic which relates the stealing of the plans of the Empire’s new planet destroying battle station: the Death Star.
The Studio Exec had the opportunity to talk to Gareth Edwards at the bathrooms of the Disney D23 conference at Anaheim this weekend.
The Godzilla director said:
Morning one, Hayden turns up and says J.J. sent him. I was quite nervous but I couldn’t send him back. I mean I couldn’t risk alienating anyone. Not after what happened with Josh Trank.
Does he play Anakin Skywalker?
No. You see, there wasn’t actually a role for him, but he would just sneak into the background of the scenes and try to strangle people with his mind grip.
That can’t have been fun.
No, but in the cafeteria one day, Forest Whitaker was choking on a taco and Hayden freed his airway with a mind Heimlich maneuver. So he was very popular after that.
Hayden Christensen will also appear in The Force Awakens, as reported earlier this weekend.
Star Wars: Rogue One will be released in December, 2016.

HOLLYWOOD – Star Wars: The Force Awakens news is coming thick and fast, but perhaps the most surprising this week is the revelation that Hayden Christensen has a role in the new films.
The news came when a series of stills were released by J.J. Abrams to Entertainment Weekly, several of which clearly shows Hayden Christensen apparently acting in scenes.
Veteran Star Wars watcher BanthaBotherer#22 spoke EXCLUSIVELY to the Studio Exec:
The presence of Hayden Christensen comes as a real shock. With George Lucas out of the picture, the sense was Kathleen Kennedy and J.J. Abrams wanted to put as much distance between themselves and the prequels as possible. From a plot point of view it doesn’t make sense, as we know that the new film takes e decades after the events of Return of the Jedi. Hayden Christensen’s character Anakin Skywalker is at this point long dead. So the only reasonable explanation is that this is Anakin Skywalker’s son. There is a reason that can’t make sense, but I don’t remember it now.
J.J. Abrams has offered a response to the many questions.
Mr. Hayden Christensen will not appear in The Force Awakens. He was not officially cast and there is no character for him to play. I cannot possibly say if he sneaked onto the set in costume. But if someone were to do something like that then we obviously have the technology to digitally remove him. In fact of the 116 CGI shots that we have in the movie, 103 of them are removing Hayden Christensen and Ewan MacGregor.
The Force Awakens will be released in two weeks time.

NEW YORK – A UN resolution signed by over forty seven countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia and China has called for Jumper 2 to be made at the earliest opportunity.
The debate over the resolution and voting was pushed to the top of the agenda, ousting once more any opportunity of a meaningful response to Russia’s intervention in the Ukraine and the pressing need to address climate change, in favor of ensuring the 2008 Hayden Christensen has a follow up. The Polish representative to the UN Bugoslaw Winding told the Studio Exec EXCLUSIVELY:
The first film directed by Doug Liman had such possibilities. It was such an intriguing premise, but I don’t know what happened in the production, but something obviously went wrong. The world is owed a genuinely good teleportation fantasy adventure and Stephen Gould has already written the second novel, so it isn’t as if there’s nowhere we can go.
China’s mission however was adamant that it was motivated entirely by a burning desire to see Hayden Christensen once more.
In China, in all the critics’ polls and all the popular top tens, Star Wars Episode Two: Attack of the Clones is not only ranked as the best Star Wars, but ranked as the best film ever. That thing he says about sand getting everywhere, that is poetry, because it is true, sand does get everywhere.
Hilary Clinton used Bill’s Facebook page to issue the following statement:
Although we welcome the opportunity to follow the adventures of David Rice and his teleporting friends further, the US strongly feels that our priorities should first be concentrated on what is happening in the Middle East with the rise of ISIS and if there is a film which needs a sequel it has to be We Bought a Zoo, surely!?
Hollywood insiders have said that formally the UN resolution holds no legal weight and the difficulty of retrieving Hayden Christensen from his five year mission to Mars would be a logistic nightmare, however, the publicity created by the resolution and the debate could well see the studio reassess the franchise.
Jumper 2 will be released in 2016.
