HOLLYWOOD – CBS have announced that the new Star Trek will feature Bryan Cranston as Spock in the reboot of Star Trek due out in 2017.

Although the new Stark Trek is to feature new characters, it has been confirmed that an exception will be made for everyone’s favorite Vulcan, Mr. Spock and he will be played by everyone’s favorite meth cook Bryan Cranston. Studio Exec has managed courtesy of The Pixel Factor to obtain a short screen test that was completed on the CBS lot.

It clearly shows Bryan Cranston’s amazing transformation into Mr. Spock, a doppelganger of the late Leonard Nimoy.

Star Trek: Into the Tribbles will be released in 2017.

HOLLYWOOD – CBS announced today that the reboot of Star Trek will focus entirely on Tribbles.

The news that Star Trek is to boldly go where it’s already been was received with delight by the internet and the Studio Exec was able to sit down with Alex Kurtzman to discuss the project.

So Alex what can you tell us about the new series?

It will be out in the Fall of 2017 and it will feature totally new characters and worlds, but the main characters will all be Tribbles.

These are the little furry things?

Yeah, exactly. They’re basically a metaphor for Catholics in that they just reproduce all the time with no sense of restraint or contraception. But now time has passed and the Tribbles have reached a higher consciousness and they can communicate and this is going to be like House of Cards, full of intrigue and dirty strange sex.

Wow! Who is going to play the Tribbles?

We have Jack Black as the leader of the Tribbles, James Franco and Winona Ryder both want to be Tribbles as well, and Benicio Del Toro wants to be a Klingon, and then we’re in talks to land Bryan Cranston as everyone’s favorite Vulcan. He’s the one character we want to bring back.

Star Trek: Into Tribbles will be broadcast in the Fall of 2017.

HOLLYWOOD – Following the successful debut of the CBS superhero show Supergirl, talks have begun of a potential all male remake.

No sooner has Supergirl taken to the airwaves and the skies, than talks begin on a spin off male version of the show. Melissa Benoist stars as Kara Zor-El, also known as Kara Danvers also known as Supergirl, but show creator Ali Adler has spoken in the past about a possible spin off version of the show featuring a male man boy as the lead character.

A source close to the show spoke EXCLUSIVELY to the Studio Exec:

We were talking the other day about other versions of the same formula that we could exploit and someone came up with the crazy idea of a male Supergirl and we all began to wonder what that would look like and how that would work. What would ‘he’ wear for instance?

You mean a Superboy?

Maybe, though one thing that came up was that Spider-man is already covering very similar ground. The high school and living with his aunt, having schoolyard crushes etc. So maybe he’d have to be a little bit older for it to work.

Sounds radical.

And the backlash from fans would be one of the reasons we might not do it. I mean you know how intense these internet trolls can be. However, I’d like to see a little more diversity in the world of superheroes so I think it would be good to have a man entering the Super universe, if you know what I mean.

From the planet Krypton?

Exactly. He could have grown up as an orphan looked after by a pair of surrogate parents and then he begins to learn his own nature and saving the world and stuff. I think it would be neat to see that. The title would be…

Superguy will debut on CBS in the Fall of 2016.

HOLLYWOOD – Three major religious leaders Jesus Christ, Mohammad and Buddha are to join Stephen Colbert for his premier week of hosting The Late Show on CBS.

Stephen Colbert said he was delighted that his tenure replacing David Letterman as host of The Late Show would get off to such an auspicious start.

I myself am a Catholic and deeply religious so to be joined by Jesus Christ will be a highlight for me. But I’m also interested in hearing the points of view of Mohammad and Buddha, who we managed to book at the last minute because he had nothing on.

What questions are you looking to ask them?

Look, I’m essentially an entertainer. When I was ‘Colbert’, I had license to be very satirical, but as myself I think I can still be entertaining but also perhaps ask some more serious and respectful questions. Particularly with Mohammad. There’s going to be very little joshing there.

How do you feel about your friend Jon Stewart also leaving his post?

I know Jon very well and have done for years. So I know that he is someone who is always eager to find new challenges. I can see him coming up with something really special. A new film or something like that. Frankly, I don’t think his stint on Fox & Friends will last very long. I see that as a kind of mouthwash before he goes on to do something else he really wants to do.

What other guests do you want to have on your show?

The first week of interfaith amazingness is going to be hard to beat, buit what I’m really looking forward to is the moment when the show just becomes a routine thing with people coming on to plug things and shoot the breeze. That kind of familiarity. It really is an amazing privilege.

Since this article was written NBC reported that Jesus, Mohammad and Buddha have been bumped for George Clooney, Amy Schumer and Elon Musk.
