HOLLYWOOD – Following the news that Adam Driver is to play the villain in J.J. Abrams upcoming Star Wars Episode 7, the Studio Exec has learned EXCLUSIVELY that Adam Boufard is to play Trooper #3 and Deidre Ethers will appear as Cantina Patron #2.

Speculation is rife as to the nature of their roles and what it might mean in terms of the plot. Star Wars expert Mol Pedantoc spoke in reverential tones that someone might use to discuss the birth of a saint:

At this early stage all that we can say categorically is that there will be some kind of fighting in the new one, otherwise why have a trooper and not only a trooper but possibly three, possibly more. Moreover we have also learned that there will be a scene set in a cantina. Judging from Mr. Abrams’ recent record I’d go so far as to say this won’t be so much a homage as the French say, but a straight up pastiche, also French.

Although Adam Boufard was unavailable to comment, we did manage to get a few minutes with Deidre Ethers:

I got the job through an open call and I’m delighted to be a part of it.

Have you seen a script?

I very much doubt I’ll see a script. I’ll just  get a call sheet and turn up when and where they tell me for my costume fitting.

But if you don’t have a script how will you know your lines?

I’m a background artist. I won’t have any lines.

Won’t have any lines!?

So there you have it Star Wars-ers J.J. Abrams’ new Star Wars movie is going to be a radical reworking of the silent D.W. Griffiths film Birth of a Nation.

Star Wars Episode 7 will be released in 2015.
