PETER DINKLAGE TO PLAY LIONEL MESSI

PETER DINKLAGE TO PLAY LIONEL MESSI

HOLLYWOOD – Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage has signed up to play Argentinian soccer maestro Lionel Messi in Ben Affleck‘s follow-up to the award-winning Argo.

“The action takes place at place London’s Heathrow Airport,” said Affleck:

The Argentinian squad are playing a match at Wembley stadium but Messi has forgotten his passport so British customs will not allow him to enter the country. Fearing they will lose the match without their star striker, the manager hires the services of disgraced former CIA John Cavendish (Bill Murray) who famously smuggled the Harlem Globetrotters out of Iran in a single suitcase during the late 70s.

“It’s one of the best scripts I’ve ever read,” said producer and soccer fan Will Ferrell:

First you think it’s just another political drama set in an airport but then everyone turns into a…ah hell. I don’t want to spoil it but let me tell you, it’s the biggest twist in the history of cinema.

Lionel Messi: Vampire Killer is due for release in 2015.
