JEREMY IRONS TO STAR IN BOBA FETT
Jeremy Irons to take the lead role in new Star Wars film: Boba Fett.
“This is very exciting. Jeremy has been researching the character and we decided to go the root we used on Logan. Boba is an old man. He survived the pit of the Sarlaac and has grown old as a kind of hobo in Tatooine. Now there’s one last bounty he has to get for the young Jaunty the Hutt. I can’t tell you much more, but it’s going to be fantastic. Possibly the best Star Wars movie since Empire. And I love Empire.”
“I know. The script is right up there.”
Others involved in the new film include Scarlett Johansson and Viola Davis. Boba Fett is also rumored to be appearing in the new live action television series that is currently filming, though it is believed Jeremy Irons will not be playing him for television. Irons told us:
“Not being in the TV version was a no-brainer. First of all, because my character is supposed to be younger in the TV show so it wouldn’t make sense. And secondly because in the script there is a hell of a lot of inter-species sex. It’s wall to wall nerf banging. It will be hard enough getting a rating for the film, but they aren’t going to let this on television. Well, maybe HBO…”
