Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn will replace Nikki Haley as the US ambassador to the UN.
James Gunn – film director and shock jock tweeter – has been appointed by President Donald J. Trump to be the next ambassador to the UN. Speaking to the Studio Exec EXCLUSIVELY, Gunn expressed his surprise:
“I was flabbergasted to tell you the truth. I just got off the phone with Warner Bros, and was already writing Suicide Squad 2 when the phone rang again and it was Donald Trump. He said Nikki’s out because of the New York Times piece… I didn’t really follow that part… and would I be interested. So I said sure. And next I know I’m getting a top flight security clearance and being briefed by Mike Pompeo, who sounds like a firefighter in a comedy porn film. That’s good. I should tweet that. Then again maybe not.”
But what about Suicide Squad 2?
“Oh I’ll still do that. I’m going to be shooting the movie Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and the UN Tuesday and Thursday and Friday. Then Sunday’s for me.”
