HOLLYWOOD – Amy Adams – the versatile Hollywood actress of The Master, Man of Steel and ARRIVAL – came into the Studio Exec office to give us her top 5 gloves of 2017.
As an actress I’ve always liked gloves. Wearing gloves helps me build a character. It also is useful when I want to pick up something without touching that thing with my hands. Like dog shit for instance. Or a bandage that has been bled onto. Here are my top five pairs of gloves. So there are ten gloves in total but still a top five.
1 Boxing gloves: I don’t box myself, but I do enjoy watching two idiots pounding each other in the face area with their stupid fists. Boxing gloves make this a legal possibility. So hats off to boxing gloves.
2 Duelling gloves: Now these aren’t necessarily a brand of glove, but I always liked it when someone was slapped with a glove and challenged to a duel. Why did that stop?
3 Mittens: This is going to cause some controversy. Many glove purists would argue that mittens aren’t gloves at all, but the weather is getting chilly and I know what I’ll be wearing come December!
4 Audrey Hepburn’s gloves: Audrey Hepburn wore gloves well. In fact she was known as Holland’s top glove model before she came to Hollywood and became an actress. Unfortunately she died.
5 Driving gloves: Again something that seems to have gone out of fashion. The driving gloves. This hails back to the time that no one would want to touch a steering wheel with skin.
